Look at this Beauty! Genetic defect or hybrid?

It is a Leucistic Canada Goose.

Leucism is a condition characterized by reduced pigmentation in animals and humans. Unlike albinism, it is caused by a reduction in all types of skin pigment, not just melanin.

The leucistic Canada geese that I have seen were simply a faded out version of the standard Canadas. Do they also come in the mottled version? For several years there was a pair (part of a large flock) that would return to feed in a cornfield by our house. Each year one or two of the goslings they returned with were leucistic. Almost a creamy version of their parents but marked like normal Canada geese.
 
Thanks yall! I havent seen it back . Usually i have an interesting goose every week. This week it was a normal goose - only it was missing a foot. the entire foot , just had a peg leg so to speak with a small knob on the end.
