our neighbors were mowing the lawn once and went over a nest of rabbits, and only one of the babies survived. we took it in, called the wildlife rehab who told us that THEY WERE CLOSED AT THE MOMENT AND COULDN'T TAKE IT IN and to feed it kitten milk for the time being. and it died overnight cuz they were simply unable to have someone wait the extra half hour it would have taken for us to bring him in.

and all the kids in the neighborhood had named him and everything... RIP fudge...

Oh my that is awful I have taken babies and injured animals in at 2am makes me no mind the time the critter is what matters that is why I do this. It sure is not for the money there is none

UPDATE to the UPDATE: Our boy, Ferris, brought in #3...now we have Huey, Dewey, and Lucy.

Poor little ones are they in the same shape as the first one. They will leave the nest to look for help if mom dose not come back
