He says he sold 3000 chicks last year, and that hes down a couple thousand! crapola! So i told him whatever ones dont sell he could give me. =O) My first chicks and ducks were from him....FREE...

I don't know, I never see anyone selling Houdans. I think our feed store (just good ol' TSC) orders from Mt. Healthy. Do they have Houdans? I'm going to check.

We had a Houdan from Ideal last year that was my toddlers beloved pet. My flock got a disease though, and the Houdan died. I really wanted to get her more Houdans for Easter!

ETA: Doesn't look like Mt. Healthy has many exciting breeds, just the basics.

Though I would happily settle for getting EE's from the feed store to put in my daughter's Easter basket.

TSC already had the bunnies in today and the only reason I didn't come home with one of those adorable creatures was previous bad bunny experience. But, oooh they were so cute and soft and sweet!

i ordered my houdans from cackle hatchery. they sent 27, and 2 were doa, so i got my 25. later 2 more died. so i kept 6 and traded 17. =O)
