I would lift that up on a frame and construct the run around it, would be a nice way to give the chickens a covered area in the run and make it more accessible to you to clean/gather eggs etc

Just got done painting it a nice barn red with white trim. I am not sure how to put it up. Any ideas?? The lower roof parts actually lift up so getting eggs and cleaning shouldn't be aproblem.

I had a friend take pics but was disappointed to find out that he didn't have color on his cell phone so will have to take a pick with my camera and then post that but here are the kids and I painting it Barn Red and White

As was already mentioned, I would definitely build a platform the size of your coop's base (just a sturdy, table looking platform....maybe 18 inches tall) to screw your little coop onto. It will save some backaches in cleaning and just make things a lot easier on you IMO. Also, because of the size of the coop, I would simply build the run around it...just have it set inside the run. It's cute as a button though! Can't believe you got that for free!
