lol....a lead intended for 2 dogs is MUCH easier to work with than 2 separate leads if you need to walk 2 dogs at the same time. Its not possible for them to become entangled b/c there's not enough line for them to cross anything. It can certainly still be a heck of a challenge with some dogs...but it can definitely make a difference to have a 2-dog lead.

ETA: Luckily my big girl is a 'one dog at a time' type of dog, she'd be dragging me and one of the others along with her if I had a 2 dog lead!
