Look What Was Under My Christmas Tree!

Wow what a pretty couple of dogs. We have a nutty but good border collie now that is into my husband and fetching balls and that's it. When my youngest child (they are 2 and 4 now) is a couple years older I would love to adopt a golden or a lab so we can have a family dog. So tyou're makin' me jealous with your cute pics of my dream dogs!

Harley has firmly found his nitch in our family. It's wierd, but it's almost like he's been here all along. As I sit here typing, he's laying on my feet! I think he's decided I'm Mama!

Harley and Daisy get along really well and she's only had to put him in his place a few times (never mean, just enough to say "Knock it off, and leave me alone!"

He's definitely one of the best Christmas presents ever

I found him on craigslist in VT. His family was moving to Oregon and had to re-home him. I drove through a major snowstorm to get him....sooo worth it. He was meant to be part of our family....I really believe that. He just fits right in!

He even babysits my baby buttons...

That is a wonderful picture. So glad you got him. We have 5 dogs here and the last one is a black lab that has a history. He was tied to a tree for the first 1.5 years of his life. My wife drove by his house often and hated seeing him. Finally one day, she stopped in and spoke to an 18 year old girl who had received him as a puppy from an old boyfriend. My wife said, "What will it take for me to take that lab off your hands?" He had never had shots, been neutered or even seen a vet. $100 later he was here. He is awesome.

Congrats again and thanks for giving him a loving home.

If so expect silvers and chocolate from the eggs, Thats what I have been getting from the pairs that I still have here.
