Looking for a breed that goes broody often

That list doesn't have Orpingtons on it, yet they are usually said to go broody often. I have 3 that went broody three times last year.

American Gamefowl and Phoenix I have some and they hatch out multiple broods yearly. I'm talking 5 to 6 broods if allowed to do so, they will lay about a dozen eggs and go broody set hatch raise the biddies for a bout 2 months lay a few more and go broody and so on.... and it seems they don't care when and what season either. I had one with chicks in Dec/Jan. out eating with the big girls in 25* temps just recently. tough little boogers for sure.

True, but not all Orpis go broody. Sorry, I did forget them - they would be in the 75% slot.

Breeders. Avoid hatcheries at all cost. Hatcheries breed out broodiness as well as natural gamey traits of both those breeds, plus most so-called Junglefowl from hatcheries are actual domestic fowl crosses or pure domestic fowl.

This might be a really stupid question but what are junglefowl and gamefowl?

Gamefowl are breeds of chickens raised for fighting. The two main categories are American Games and Oriental Gamefowl.

Junglefowl are the original gallus bird that chickens originated from. There's Red Junglefowl, green, and gray Junglefowl. A couple lesser known ones too.

In your state it won't be too hard to find some. Even if you look through Craigslist try the keywords american game, gamecock, gamefowl, or even words like Kelso, Roundhead, Hatch, Sweater, Mcclean, or Morgan. Some may be expensive, some may be cheap.

Get only hens though unless you're prepared for the fact that gamefowl roosters are indeed bred to fight one another without question. Very very good with people, the most stable and non-aggressive you can get, just not at all to other roosters.
