Looking for a specific chicken

Does any one have a White Faced Black Spanish Chicken? I am just beginning with chickens. Is this a good chicken to have in the southeast?

I have them (large fowl)- I am in Virginia. They do well in the heat, however they are not the best option if you are looking for a few pets.

I wouldn't recommend as a breed to someone just starting with chickens, unless you are strictly looking for livestock.

get Speckled Sussex. They are the best chicken for first timers, in my opinion.

Are there any specific traits you are interested in? Large birds or bantams? Do you want a breed that produces a lot of eggs or is egg production not that important? Any particular color of eggs? Do you want all of one breed or a variety?
