Looking for good speckled eggs from hatchery

Not sure if this is the correct place to post this:

I've been eyeing the speckled eggers from Cackle Hatchery https://www.cacklehatchery.com/speckled-eggertm-chicken.html but they're sold out this year. Other than that I've also liked the look of the Heritage Welsummer from Alchemist Farm https://www.alchemistfarm.com/heritage-welsummers/ but I'm not too keen on the idea of having to order straight run (I'm not looking for any roosters)

Anyone else know of any good places for a chance to get heavily speckled eggs? Thanks so much!

How about Cackle's dark egglayer assortment, or their French Marans assortment? We've ordered both, and been very pleased with the birds.

I just looked at their website, and all the dark egg layers seem to be sold out. WOW! Glad I got mine in April and May!

Not sure where your from, most hatcheries are sold out. Maybe try eight acres farm in Florida.

Wellsummer's have nice dark speckled eggs. I had some yrs ago from Meyer hatchery, beautiful eggs.

Meyers has at least one speckled layer in colored egg section I think..alchemist has good quality birds but pricey for straight run esp if u don’t want or can’t have roos
