looking for new breeds

i have a flock of bantams and i am looking for some new breeds (preferably large fowl) that are better layers. right now im just looking for some different breeds before the chicks are back in stock at the feed stores. what do you recomend, and what experiences do you have with these breeds?

edit- photos would be great to help me decide

Well my Calico Princess is awesome. Big pullet and lays almost every day. However she has constant meat spots in her eggs, which means she may have issues later on.

Phoenixes are nice. Mine go broody constantly though and hide their nests

i have considered phoenix but my entire flock is made up of broodies so i am looking for some layers, i will have to research calico princesses. do you have any photos?

She's maybe 6 or 7 pounds and was hatched early April
She is now queen in the naked neck pen cause she can put up with the heavy male

LEGHORNS. Best ever layers, hardly ever ill, massive eggs but feed-efficient.

i have definitely been considering leghorns, they are on the smaller side so they would fit in nicely with my bantam flock
