Looking for old recipe - it was called "Family Pie"

I have a question. I'm going to make this this week and test it out. Can I transfer this from a glass pan to a throw away pan without injuring it? We're bouncing from house to house this year and I don't intend on staying long anywhere (or waiting for my bakeware). Do you think it's possible?

So looked up dump cake to see what would pop up

Try it, not sure... All I can guess is try it. And be super fast! It's kinda soft, cheesecakey. Maybe if you cut it up, then transfer it piece by piece?

ML am on my way to store going to try it , but minus the nuts. It should still be good, a real gooy pineapple cherry cake. Im there!!!!

Chicabee19 did you ever had the family pie with apples with this? What fruit was normally used?

ML

I've had it with almost every fruit except apples.

I mostly made it with berries, but haven't tried it in about 10 years. That's why I forgot how to make it!

I'm pretty sure you'd have to cut the apples into smallish pieces for them to cook through.

If you try it, let me know!
