Looking for Red Brown Ameraucanas

Hey everyone,

I got some “Ameraucana” chicks from my local chick store awhile ago, however I was told that they were probably EEs and not true Red/Brown Ameraucanas. I’ll post some pics, in case anyone says anything different.

However, I was looking for somebody in the South Florida area that does sell true Red/Brown Ameraucanas, either chicks or started pullets. I’ll be keeping my other girls, but wanted some true birds.

True Ameraucana will always be sold under their variety name and almost never for the $4 they sell for at feed stores. Funny how different breeds call the color something different. For example a red brown Ameraucana is the same as a black copper in Marans. What's known as brown in Leghorn is called Silver in Ameraucana. Yet some colors do have the same name as different breeds... such as black, blue, buff.
