Looks like a Roo? No crowing? We are really confused?!?

19-20 weeks old From TSC
No Crowing
Small Spur growths
No Mating
Similar in size to same age pullets that have been laying brown eggs for 2 weeks, never seen in nesting box.
Larger Comb than same age pullets

We had 2 California White hens that looked just like that. They had really big red combs and wattles, even though they were hens. They laid lovely white eggs. I was afraid they were roosters at first, but they started laying around 4.5 mos. They were the same age, and one of them developed the red comb much earlier than the other. Eventually, they looked identical.

it could be a hen cos it dosent seem to have any sickle or hackle feathers. but as im new to chicken keeping im not sure!!

Looks like a pullet to me ~ no saddle feathers and the tail looks girly.

Could pass for a White Leghorn girl, though mine are bit slimmer. The hens have big combs/wattles. Also someone mentioned White Rocks, the coloring matches for that too.
Doesn't really look like a roo to me, has a girly tail and shape. With that face though, cross your fingers for eggs!!

My brown leghorns got big combs very fast, and they came from TSC.


Oops, forgot about the white earlobes... rules out leghorn. Still looks girly to me.

That bird isn't a Leghorn.
Leghorns have White earlobes the bird in question has Red earlobes..
I believe that the it is a Hatchery Type White Plymouth Rock Pullet..

If it is a pullet - would "she" lay white or brown eggs? (we only have brown egg layers now - no white eggs)
