LOS ANGELES county CA under bird quarantine :(

Pics
From all that I've read (and that's all I've done for hours...), it seems as though wild birds carry it, but it presents with fewer symptoms and with less severity. They can shed it through droppings, feather, and dander to poultry. The poultry, however, die from it. And vaccines seem to have caused additional mutations that effect kept poultry/birds because they are the animals who get vaccinated. In other words, bad ju ju.
Correct. Wild birds won't show signs of being sick.

If wild birds really do carry this disease, then do we consider the entire Pacific flyway at risk due to migration? Are peeps in OR, WA, and points north at risk?

I don't wanna panic, but I am starting to. Now wondering if I should cancel my chick order. I know that if we are put in quarantine, shipments will be halted (CA is a huge state, so who knows if/when my area would be subjected to quarantine). But is it irresponsible for me to subject new birds to this? Or am I overreacting? I often do...

Tough decision.
I think I'd just cancel the order and wait.

I will think long and hard on it. My delivery is set for June. I've got some time yet.
Contact the seller and find out if you will even be able to receive a refund if the state refuses to let any birds in.
