LOS ANGELES county CA under bird quarantine :(

Kerri Elaine who's made a personal vendetta of the quarantine to protect the rest of our flocks. She screams and rails at people doing their jobs and then charges them with being "rude" because they don't support her in her efforts. Go figure!
:th
That lady is a mess.

Not having watched the YouTube video, (not wanting to, either), I keep my birds pretty secure from other birds that could carry disease. I lost a much loved pet cockatiel in ~ 1985 (in Tustin, CA) where I kept it in the backyard. Sparrows ate from it's dish and pooped in it's cage. One day when I went in the yard, my bird was dead. At the time, I thought it was cute to see the wild birds in with my pet bird. Not any more.

Regarding the recent detection, the owner of the store admitted having brahma chickens in the store for sale and removed them before the CDFA came. WTFreak! That is how they found vND in the store! How are people still getting chicks/chickens???

This is disturbing on multiple levels... Why are they able to sell chickens in a quarantine zone (first). Second, how were they able to remove them before the CDFA came??? (were they pre-warned of the visit by someone with "inside knowledge"?) Third, how did they find VND if there was nothing to test??? (are they doing floor scrapings, cage scrapings? Or what?) Or were there other birds there to test? Remember, this isn't some isolated little store in an outlying area, it is right, straight, in the middle of the quarantine zone in a highly populated area!!! Not holding out a lot of hope for the "eradication" efforts... Just hoping they don't "find" anything more...
