Our Black hen has always been very slow and so when she died I wasn't supprised. Now this morning my son went out to feed the birds and came in to tell me that Denise, my crooked toe hen, was dead also. No one seems sick, poo looks ok, feeding fine, fresh water. They all stopped laying and are molting I believe. Our weather has been very nasty, rainy and cold. Any suggestions on how to keep the rest from dying?

It is so hard to tell what is happening. i think that if they aren't laying I would dose the rest with antibiotics.

I think I am going to end up calling the village vet this afternoon and see if he will come out and look at the birds.

That is a very good option in this case. I wish you the best.

Thank you, We definately don't want to lose anyone else and the fact that they are not acting sick kind of scares me.
