here is a pic of my silkie roo who was raised since he was hatched

so you can see the difference in the birds. Also the purebred have black skin.
These newcomers are a "breed of their own". I think they are so cute!!!​

He is really beautiful! Did you hatch him yourself? I'm considering hatching to be one of my next projects, but have to do a lot of research and build another coop possible.

I would like to have some silkies one day.
