Maybe a raven would work as when the ravens are around my house I never see the hawks ......

Was it the hawk? so sorry, and yes keep them up till you get the tape.We lost our drake todaygoing to keep the girls inside until I get the tape or figure out something![]()

Good for you, be sure to follow directions, I used gorilla tape on the end before screwing them into the wood for support they say duct tape but I didn't have any. this is how I did it over the area the flock likes to hang out in.
if you look to the right of the building with the goose on it and wash tubs you'll see one of the streamers I made that's the one that scared the geese. since then we have put up more straight line tape and also added more streams to tree branches that blow real well in the wind.
That's a brave hawk to go inside the duck house goodness, desperation for food. So sorry and hope you get the tape soon.Yeah it was the Hawk from what we can tell.
But Tron did put up a fight before dying as there were feathers all over the place (and I don't think they were only duck feathers). Hopefully he taught the hawk a lesson and kept his girls safe. It seems the fight started in the pen but ended in the duck house.
I let the girls out for a little bit this morning while I was in the pen but locked them back up with food and water for the day. I don't feel like losing anymore.
