My bf's father got some of the game hens from a man close to Opelousas. He was giving them away. I'm not sure if he has any left, but I know he had a good bit. I can get the number for you if you think the man would be interested in them.

Very beautiful bird. Did the older gentleman up the road from you ever find any pullets? I've been on the search for Frizzle Cochin Bantams and Cochin Bantams (another bobcat decided to go on a serial killing spree yet again), but it seems they're not very popular around here. I also went to the last chicken swap at TSC and there wasn't very many people there at all. I left with one Cuckoo Maran pullet. I'm sure it was due to the cold weather though.

If you're interested in hatching, Luckypickens here on BYC has some nice bantam Cochins and ships eggs. I hatched out some beauties earlier this year. My favorite 2 mottled boys looked like twins.

I visited the old man this weekend and he was still talking about getting some hens for eggs. He loves country eggs and he has been buying them from me. I would really like to see him get some pullets or laying hens. I wish I has some to sell him but I don't sell hens because I need them for eggs. :/
