I have a question! I would like to know what breed of chickens everyone is raising? EVERYONE IN LOUISIANA. I have EEs, Wheaten and Blue Wheaten Ameraucana, and I have Wheaten and Gold Duckwing Sulmtalers ordered for mid November. Thanks Eric

That would be interesting. I think I'd like to see that. Kuntrygirl, get working on it?Learn something new every day! I just learned guineas can hybrid with chickens and even peafowl. How crazy weird!![]()
I gave my boys the choice of stew or chili. They picked chili. I'll be making a big double batch of ground beef and steak tip chili with kidney and navy beans.Good morning peeps. Wet and chilly this morning. Gumbo, stew or soup weather today.
Oh, I can't wait to see pictures!! This is the part of chickens that I love. The wait kills me!!! I really want to get something that has a little of a "frizzled" look to it. Not sure if I'm describing it correctly. I also would love one that lays "olive" colored eggs.I'm wondering what the silkie babies will come out like. Both of the parents I'm told are "Blue". But my roo has a fair amount of buff color now on the back of his neck. So I think he is called something else, not blue. I forget what its called. But I'm hoping with his buff and maybe she has something hidden that may throw us some neat looking babies. Maybe???
What???That's news to me, too! So they do it naturally, or are people fooling with nature like they did to create the mule?![]()
