Whew. I did some stuffs today! Finally get a break (at work lol) thanks to double duty last night prepping for making today an easy night! Mission accomplished!
I had to unhook and clean out all of our resivores for auto waterers (rabbitry has 2 and coops share 1). All have fresh rain water -50 gallons total, clean tanks and ACV
Rabbit trios have been selling like crazy. Easter is close but the trio's sold are being used for breeders. I only have one trio left. Well a few on reserve we are housing another few weeks but sold! Yay! Now I need more and my does are holding out lol but soon they should kindle again.
I hand tilled a 12x12 foot, a 5x6 foot & an 8x8 foot garden bed today along with half of the 20x15 garden. Then pulled out the tiller- but didn't get to fire her up yet.
A pile of these ugly-huge-gag me when I squished one with a shovel grubs were dug up
I threw them all to the chickens and there was a great battle. Looked like a flag football game lol Ew.
Blondie my hubby calls her, helped me till the gardens. She did great on catching bugs running away lol
Chicks got to range today too.
I planted seeds of eggplant, cucumbers, carrots, mustard greens, lettuce, radish, banana peppers, peas, green beans, and am prepping an arbor to plant A LOT of beans! Dang it I want loads of stuff to share and eat not a salad here and there. So
I planted a bunch of seedlings I had in the green house. I noticed my fig tree cuttings are starting to leaf!
No roots yet I don't think its been long enough bit soon ill have many lil fig trees! Making more excites me. Lol my fav are doing great even in the chilly weather, purple tomatillos (mmmm so pretty and sweet!)
This morning off the porch
Can't wait to sink into a hot bath tonight!
Course I can name a few movie stars I wouldn't have minded in my single days to taking a bite out of their ***, but just making a wishful thought?! Plus I have been working as an extra for a little while, and know there is no phenomenal ability to acting, so they aren't fabulous to me anymore... the guy who does the fat hiding on films is who I admire... Lord knows I love those with the ability on pictures!!! Unless I am starving after a snowstorm plane crash, I aint eating anyone.... ever. Not sure what would have to happen for me to change my mind either... but it would have to be a full world nuclear war or some other weird crap like that... and then I would probably die from starvation anyway.... just gross.
it's late and I'm going to bed. Got to get up early. Man's coming to till my garden and start predator proofing my 7x10 dog kennel. Gonna be Fort Knox. But the people down the road have had chickens in 4 kennels without ANY top or hardware and never had any problems in 3 yrs. You can bet that if I stumble and don't do everything possible that I'll be the one to lose them. Murphy's Law. right?

Possum Law!! Never trust those nasty critters. Of course if you have a pitch fork you have nothing to worry about, right, Kuntrygirl. (I am still feeling so proud of you. )

This is one of the phenox chicks they get in the feeder and start flinging the feed. Just those two the rest eat it out the bowl.
This is a new feeder I bought they can only get their heads in so no more waste. No more poo in the feed also keeps it dry. And you can close it so no more feeding mice.
Here is a pic a pic of the chicks. I love when they get tail feathers.

The chicks are so cute. Just love them. Where did you get that feeder? I really like it. It would solve a lot of issues. Is it metal? Can you put FF in it since FF has vinegar?
