All of the Cochins and the Sizzle (cochin-silkie) hens that we have have proven to be wonderful little brooding mamas. Some of those eggs are going into the incubator and we will most likely be selling most of the ones that hatch. Very sweet.
I had no idea there was still baby chicks around at this time of the year. Shreveport doesn't have them.
Give me a few days and let the fermented feed get to them and then we'll be cooking. The size is extra large and so healthy. I'm going to make it better.
I just love these Cuckoo Marans girls from you....... Even if they don't love me back. Haha! They will eat from my hand, but are not snuggly for sure. They make up for it with their big fluffy butts and beautiful eggs.
