I was just given a what I think is a oeg crele rooster....young, just crowed for the first time....beautiful...I'm sure he is not pure , is barred like crele black and grey under with saddle and neck feathers creamish color..gosh I need a pic. in front of me to explain him, anyway, do you think he will cause a ruckus if matched with one of my reg. hens....will the chicks have a mean streak (game) don't want to breed aggresiveness into my really docile flock....what cha think ... give him away or keep him? I just think he is beautiful and will be moreso as he ages.... Thank you for the answers to " do I keep the feeders full at all times" .....G sure would like to hear what you think..

My feeders are full at all times 24/7. It's a buffet all day long.

I agree....My feeders are kept full.I mainly feed every evening, and always make sure to top off everyone's feeders. All of my smaller wooden brooders have a 3# feeder in each one,the large brooder (whether used as one or split for dual hatches) always has 2 of them. When my tweens are moved to wire pens, they each have a 1# feeder AND a hopper(rabbit feeder). All topped off.
