Love when the kids get involved

Watching my kids take an interest in raising our chickens has been so enjoying. It's funny listening to them tell each other how to take better care of them and than the other...lol

My now 14yo loved helping with the eggs and feeding when I had the in-town chickens. I'm looking forward to involving the grandchildren going forward.

Yes I can imagine. these are two children that most of the time spent sitting either face to the phone or gaming. Which I do try to control. But to spend more time sitting on the grass beside chicken and just chatting with them or fussing at them just boggles my mind. and then if one child isn't doing something right the other one has to get on them about how to properly care for the chicken. "No you have to hold it this way, why are you dropping it like that, that water looks dirty"... LOL ages 15 and 24 LOL

My niece has been wanting chickens forever. She is getting them just as soon as they get the coop set up!
