I imagine in Australia, the potentially vast distance to the nearest state agricultural or veterinary diagnostics lab may be a problem depending upon where the OP is located.

Thanks for the clarification. I forgot that frozen doesn't work for professional necropsy. I've heard of people doing for at home ones though.

Hopefully they can find one close. I would think each province would have one like our states do.
