Lump under beak

If you can get the puss out through the beak, do that by squeezing from the outside. Dosage of Tylan 200 can be very small and tricky to give. Dosage is 0.25 ml (1/4 ml) for a 5 pound chicken given orally 3 times daily for 5 days. You will need a 1 ml syringe to use. Many pharmacies will sell one, since most feed stores do nit have those.

Thank you all so much. I’ll do that and start the Tylan. Fingers crossed this does the trick.

I couldn’t get anything else out. The lump isn’t as soft as it was though. She has a little of a snoring sound and is breathing through her mouth. I gave the Tylan and was able to get a couple syringes of water down her. Do you think it could be an upper respiratory infection or still thinking an abscess?

Any way you can get some photos?
If it's a foul smell, then it could be canker

Smell is worse today. She is very lethargic and labored breathing. I’ve continued with the Tylan but doesn’t sound like that is what she needs. Based on your experience, would you keep a chicken when she is a carrier? I’m just afraid my other 2 will end up with the same problem. My hens have basically been very healthy. I really don’t know what to do. Thank you!
