Lumps in chicks chest from Coccidiosis or something else?

I was terrified when I picked up my 5-day old silkie and felt that same lump - I hadn't realized how low and to the right the crop is. I massaged a little, but don't think it was necessary. Do baby chicks really impact their crops?

It's waxed and waned, and I think was just so prominent because she's so small. I had researched here and the consensus seemed to be that you should never separate a young chick from its food and water - they are growing rapidly and need to eat. I'm a more relaxed chick momma now. It's one thing to read about crops, another to feel a ping-pong ball sized one on your tiny brand new baby. I have since felt crops on all my chicks at one time or another. Makes me happy to know they're eating!

Good news! Little chicks pretending to be little porkers ;)
