Glad to be here. I started keeping chickens four years ago, with the inevitable ups and downs of a beginner (still a beginner 
) but BYC has been invaluable on the journey. I'm truly grateful for the generosity of older members in sharing their knowledge. They've helped cure an eggbound hen, a case of flystrike, and generally helped stave off more than one panic attack when I really wasn't sure what was going on with one of the girls. And I always have a 50 lb bag of epsom salts around!
