Made in America?

There are very few shoe makers left in the U.S. and the ones that come to mind mostly make men's shoes., Alden, Allen-Edmonds are probably the two biggest. White's boots is another.

Red Wing, Chippewa and New Balance make some shoes in the U.S. but not their whole line.

I just got these neat feeders at a local farm store, they are 4-H feeders.
I was really excited that some of the profit went back into the 4-H clubs.
It said a portion of the sales went into 4-H educational programs.
Then I notice in very tiny print it says they are made in China.
What a let down. I have been very proud that most of my stuff for the
animals has been made in the USA, then I let the 4-H logo mislead me.

I have been wearing Justin boots all of my life. A couple years ago I got a pair of the chunky boots just to wear around when we go out.
I notice right away that they would take some breaking in, but didn't think to much of it. Later after having them rub my feet I was checking
to see if they had anything wrong inside.Right there on the tag it said MADE IN CHINA. I checked all of my old pairs, they are made in the U.S.A.

Justin is another one that makes some boots in the U.S. and imports others. Can't just go by brand anymore.

Where are you finding mugs made in America? I won't buy one from China 'cause I'm concerned about possible lead in the glaze.

I sell them. My site is www.cupsandstuff.com If you type in USA under the coupon code, it will take 5 off the price.

I have a friend who was considering buying a dehydrator, after I'd told her about all the stuff you can do with it.

Just a note: She has gone the cheap route, all her life.

We went to the Cabela's website, where I bought mine, and there were a number of them....The one I have was made in the USA and is still available for about $250. The Chinese knockoff of that same model was $100 less, but did not have the same specs, as far as heater and fan motor or total weight.

She had been complaining about nothing being made in America, and I told her to put her money where her mouth was....I know she hated parting with the money, but she did it.

How many of us would do the same?.......After all, we just want something with a heater and a fan to dry out food.

I try to buy local. I find a lot of stuff from China falls apart very soon after I buy it anyway, it's worth a bit of a higher price for the quality
