Went to TS this morning for dog food secretly hoping to run across some chicks. To my DH dismay, I heard those chicks peeping as soon as we walked in. Oh they had bantams, so tiny and cute, but I held my composure and walked away with a smile. Oh that hurt, haha. The ones I ordered better be here soon or it just might be a different story later. I wonder if I could slip a bantam in on him later. Hmmmmm

I am avoiding my feed store! I stocked up on dog food, layer pellets, chick starter and chicks!

Not to mention all I have hatched out!

Secretly hoping the 14 in the brooder will keep eating shavings and start leaving 2 by 4's and plywood to build their coops!

Those would be some valuable chickens! However the big girls egg sales have been buying theirs and the chicks feed!

i won a bid on E-Bay for 12 BLRW's. Hate to just put 12 eggs in bator, can anybody send me some good quality eggs to go along with these?

Thanks Scott

Congrats greenpeeps!!

We are overloaded with birds, something to do with the Sportsman I think.

I was at the feed store yesterday, getting our weekly rations, and could not pass up on a drive-by on the chick bins. I suppose it is a good thing the selection was poor, so they made it easy to continue on my way.

Now, if I could figure out how to stop filling the trays in the sportsman.
