Mahonri's 2nd Annual BYC EASTER HATCH. Post pics of your chicks!

Checked the fan... I've used it three times... no dust... wierd huh?

I'm still trying to catch up.. I'm marking my place.!

And I'm still really, really thankful for all of you folks stepping up and helping...

We couldn't do it without SCG and the rest of you helpful folks.

BTW... got 14 eggs in the mail from Melissa (pasofinofarm) today. They are beautiful as always.

I'm hoping the last 3 shipments from CA, MO and IL will make it by Friday....

It's a good thing I ordered eggs... my girls have just about quit me... with exception of the EEs, and I don't really want to hatch those.

Steve, so happy your bator arrived.

Grateful that Kathyinmo and The Warden will still be on Mahonri sanity watch....

ETA: I forgot to mention, I have both bators out and working Brinsea went right up to temp, the 1588 took about an hour and a half.

Wahoo!!!!

Mine was used 3 times too, but I might have been brooding a gazillion chicks through out the whole time in the house

thus leading to lots of dust! I am glad I got brave and took that plastic piece off and cleaned it. Now, Thanks to all the feedback, I know it is easy to do and I can keep the Brinsea spick and span for lots and lots more hatches!

It is only Wednesday! Oh, no surprise that you are well prepared ............. much in advance!

I don't even know what I am gonna set. I have 17 dozen eggs sitting here, but only a few that I really need to hatch. I have a gazillion Coronation and Split-to-Coronation eggs. Gads, those girls lay like crazy! OH, and my English Orps are laying well too ..... BUT, NONE have been fertile yet! They are making me sooooo mad!

It was a dreary, wet, muddy, yukky day here today. I didn't even want to go outside. I hope it is better tomorrow, though the forecast is rain and 55*. I want to get outside and talk to those dang Orps!

I picked up some extra eggies from Mahonri's yesterday. Here's hoping I dont have a repeat of last time

How is everyone? I have absolutely no intention of trying to catch up 298 pages or whatever you crazy people are on
