A night in the box did nothing to dissuade the two broodies.



I've been trying to get my new raised garden bed into the ground today (now that it's thawed)... I knew I lived on a hill but this is bad. Any suggestions for leveling this sucker cause rocks sure aren't going to work??? I hate to dig up my yard.

Please ignore my house in the last picture, you can see the girls are enjoying sneaking tastes of the styrofoam insulation that surrounds the house. Most days I feel like the witch in Hansel and Gretel.

FLAPPER ENTRY!

I went out there with my camera and said, "ok who wants to flap your wings. Flap your wings!" I had chickens on one side of me and geese on the other side of me. The geese IMMEDIATELY started flapping. They are soooo smart. Not one, but two. Here is Mister (white) and Whisper (grey) flapping away for the contest. Thanks!
