Youse guys are gonna make me make those two Week #3 Contest entry pages now, aren't ya?? I'm mining the entries and I'll get to it when I am smarter (more awake, full of more coffee). Do not despair!
(Actually, I have been outside taking photos of one of my bantam Cochin roosters "nesting" in a flowerpot. Gotta work on selecting the good pix from that session.)
Here's my entry for ROOSTERS "laying" in an odd place:
Frick (not Frack) was in this pot up on a table behind a piece of scrap plywood for QUITE some time. Long enough for me to go get my cell phone to take a whole series of pictures. The rest of these photos are just to tell the story, the above photo is my actual contest entry.
Here he is crowing in the pot.
This shot shows how even a bantam Cochin can find someplace not quite big enough settle down comfortably.
Here he is, suggesting I move along, because he has a plan - and I'm interfering with it!
Well, looky here! A pretty pullet thinks this is a nice place to lay an egg! You should have heard Frick making his happy little "This is good! This is GOOD!" sounds to her.
