Mahonri, Looks like I may be back in. Should have almost 30 eggs if I can get to them before whichever chicken it is keeps poking holes in them, and then eating a couple more.

Cool!!! Give us the amount you are hatching and then guess how many chicks I'll get with the first three breeds.​

So if you all go to POST #1 you'll see that I've updated peeps names with the numbers of eggs they are setting.

Some of you said you'd add tomorrow just before start time, be certain to let me know so we can get the exact amount that will help us figure out the hatch % for each participant.

And I'm up to date... for the moment.

OH HAPPY DAY!!!! Three of my 4 shipped order arrived today!!!

AND none were broken!! Got my eggs from: Rockinpaints - 12 Blue Marans; Uglyducky - 4 Bantam Buff Brahmas, 8 Bantam Salmon Favs; Halo - a total of 16 (Kathy, you'll have to tell me what I got!).

Expecting one more shipment (hopefully tomorrow?)

I feel very blessed! Haven't candled yet... THANKS for the GREAT packaging you three!

Really stupid question. I've got the Brinsea Octagon. Never hatched anything before. I bought a hygrometer/thermometer combo and attached it to the yellow wall of the incubator.

The top (manufacturer) thermometer is reading about 98 to 99. The digital combo about an inch down on the wall is reading 95 to 96. Which do I trust?

I am setting 32 eggs that I purchased from 2 different breeders (not on BYC)

3 Ameracauna
11 BO
18 FBCM

I will be at work, so my wife will be setting these eggs and using widget for time.

I am guessing that Mahonri will get 47 chicks from 82 set.

I am setting 20 SLW's from White Mountain..
Recieved this morning and really packed great. All eggs in good shape.
Also 1 Blue cooper marans...............hoping to get another before start time tomorrow.
How did the 11 th get here so fast.....
My EE's are on strike and I am disappointed about this.
Putting my blue cooper marans roo with my cuckoo marans hens for my next hatch.Got one Blue
Marans from an eariler hatch..................she is to beautiful for words..........
