Mahonri's 2nd Annual NYDHatch, watching them grow...

Yep, I was pretty sure you were going to say that. I have a four and a five year (two sons) and they keep things lively (that is the nicest way I know to put it). I love hearing about everyone's childrens antics - makes me feel like our kids are perfectly normal!

we have 3 kids(DD-11 years, DS-8 years and DS-5 years) and we always tell people who ask if we are going to have anymore that there was a reason DS(5) was last, cause if he would have been first he would have been an only child! He can be the life of the party in more ways than one sometimes!

Still I won't have it anyother way and won't give any of them up for anything.

My Dad use to say "He wouldn't take a million dollars for any one of his kids....... but wouldn't give a dime for another one like'em".

Your father sounds like a wise man!

I just mean that I love my sons beyond reason - but WOW are they a handful. I love chickens, but kids, kids are the most rewarding thing I have done with my life. That said, the kids are also the hardest thing I have ever done.

I have to laugh because if my Dad had his way he'd let all 5 of us kids move back home and 4 of us are married and 3 of us have kids, we'd all go crazy but him and my mom would be just fine!

I would have to agree. I have done some hard things in my life, including go to War. But the hardest is being Dad. But the rewards are worth it.

Nope, just a little retarded

Truthfully I have hatched out one bunch of eggs. I kind of get it but don't trust myself completely and tend to just stick them all back in the incubator because I don't trust my judgement.
And this hatch, most of the eggs I had shipped to me were busted up in transit - so I am desperately hoping these hatch - and desperately afraid they won't. Almost like I am afraid to check them and find out they are all scrambled.
