Mahonri's 2nd Annual NYDHatch, watching them grow...

It's the new one. We're in to scarring at my house.

NOW is my hat better? I added a extra-dirty martini.

Welcome RunninWithScissorBeaks

My wafer had to be adjusted down nearly a full turn to get it where I want . I finally remembered the hi/lo memory ; it was only 102.2 at its highest , I think I'm good , it has been there before and the eggs kept growing , and I must have caught it just as it peaked today .

Sorry to others who have suffered worse disappointments than my own , and I'm actually happy that I think I still have some going .

Wow ! Time has passed quickly , lockdown is day after tomorrow . Thank you all for being here to make the time go by so quickly , and especially to Mahonri for starting this thing .

I'm not sure how many of mine are going to hatch out, but I feel like a kid waiting on Christmas morning. I can't wait to see little cracked shells. This will be my first time of hatching (hopefully) silkie eggs.

Laree... love the hat.

My wife wondered if the pullet bullet was safe to eat.

We had another hen that once laid LOOONG eggs.. her name was Long Jean. Sadly she passed last summer.

I would think so. I have a MFC that seems to only lay fart eggs. At least I think it is her. I get 3 fart eggs from her a week. They are great for baking!

and low in cholesterol! Heart healthy! ... and good for meringues.

Too bad you can't hatch her eggs... it's like trying to plant from a seedless watermelon.

Yeah, I had a whole conversation in my head about it when I was making mousse last week. Oh well.
