I even took week old chicks out of the brooder and held them next to the bator in hopes that their peeping would encourage this little one. It was out pretty quick, just not quick enough.

I just read the weather warning they said 2 inches of rain is coming and the mountains by Santa Barbara will get 4 to 8 inches of snow....my chickens need a raft if it really happens and I will have to move some horses...oh my I hope we just get an inch I might have to just drink my whiskey straight.....I lived through the 1000 year flood it can't do it again in less than 15 years
