Mahonri's 2nd Annual NYDHatch, watching them grow...

Didn't go to bed till after 5 am. One temp was down to 97 with 64 humidity and the other was up to 104 with 46 humidity!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

No nothin in either one.

I started with 82 eggs. Locked down was 57 and I have ZERO!

I've had day 25 hatches, but I've also opened day 25 hatches and wished I had pipped them on day 21.

I refuse to give up, but come on. Two incubators, 57 eggs and NOTHING???

I just don't get it.

They're just raised cracks right now, no holes, but they aren't dead!

And, actually, right on time - even a tad early - as I didn't get them set until nearly 1 PM on 12/11. So, two whole hours early.
(and here I was dispairing so much, earlier, too.
Whew!

Mahonri, have you tried giving it a little sugar water with an eye dropper. Or get some drops of Polysol infant vitamin drops(NO IRON) into it. Oh I hope it makes it.

You can guess whenever you want, but I'm not telling until noon on the 5th, so you will have to wait!! I'm sorry it's looking so bleak. Maybe I'll offer 2 $10 gift certificates to my own auctions to the next closest guessers. Yeah, I will! I'll go change my auction announcement.

If you quoted my auction announcement, it'd be good if you'd add the new info, too.

Okay, since I'm posting more than anyone else, I need to take a break, I guess.

I'm going out to give fresh hot water to the banty shanty and look for eggs so they don't freeze. I'll look in at the incubator, too, and take pics of the cute duckling. I'll get shots for my cheat-sheet, too.

Back in a bit!!
