I couldn't wait, I checked the hatcher (no window) I pulled out three more!!!! A Buckeye, buckeye bantam, and a barred Japanese.

Sorry to everyone that has reported sad news.

Many more good hatching vibes coming for the rest of the eggies that have pipped for ya'll.

I have chickie #5 after a little assistance. I pipped this egg to see what was going on in there and found that this little baby would have pipped more toward the wrong end of the egg and it is such a big chick that I don't think it would have been able to turn it's self and doubt seriously that it would have pipped on it's own, but it was just screaming in the incubator before I pipped it. Now we are resting and chirping our little head off in the hatcher.

My last five eggs are NOT quitters! Well, dunno about 'em all, but a second TJs egg has hatched!

It is not out of the bottom half of the shell in the egg carton holder, yet, and looks like a slimy mess, but it has got some lungs on it!!

The first TJs chick and the BR chick have been in their brooder for about 10 hrs now. They're gonna have a buddy.

Congrats to all the other late arrivals, too!

Smaller than a 'coffee' cup, I lined it with paper towel. It worked. It can't lie down, it has to stand up and eventually it will try to get out of it like it does a shell. strengthens legs and feet.

Ok My final count is 16. Started with 35, locked-down with 18. I just took the last 2 eggs out, candled and see no movement & some blobs. I will call them quitters. Incubator is shut down & cleaned. Ready for the next round.

I have another chick!! Little fellow is chirping up the bator... My teaspoon baby will be so thrilled to have a buddy!! Now if the other 2 eggs will hatch.. We can have a party in the brooder..

I don't have time to uplaod a photo.. I have 5 minutes to get to work.. Good thing work is less than 100 yards away!!
