Congrats to all the winners!

so unless a miracle happens I'm out of the die hard contest.
off to fill out the hatch sheet now.

Good morning everyone. I just moved the two late hatchers to the brooder. I still have two more eggs in the bator. One more lav orp and one more Am. Pretty sure the Am is a dud and I candled the lav orp egg and no internal pip yet. I am going to leave them in the bator until this afternoon but I am pretty sure that I am done with this hatch. While I would love to win those eggs in the die hard contest I have

for everyone else who might have pips, zips or eggs still peeping at them. Don't give up guys! Those chickies are just late to the party! The lady I got my lav orp eggs said that she and another breeder she is in contact with have had late hatches lately. Maybe it is the weather?

Congratulations to Steve!

Your humor has had me laughing so many times through this hatch! Kathy, Laree, Mahonri, Mary, ChooksChicks and SGC (and many others) your advice and knowledge have been invaluable to this first time hatcher! I have learned so much doing this, it amazes me.

Even DH admitted last night that watching the chicks hatch was cool and that he is a closet hatcher!

Linda your wry humor and TJ eggs have kept this thread lively and Rathbone (I want to say Kim?) your kind words to people have been so special. If nothing else, going through this with everyone else on this thread has proven that BYC is the best second family we could have! Thank you to everyone! OK, now when is Easter and when does the thread start up?

I don't think my nerves can take a hatch any sooner!

God loves laughter - I really believe it.....Look at Mahonri!!! Yeah! Mahonri you rule and dogs drool....as my neighbor's grandson says to my husband. I wish I could get that kinda Cool award... Sigh.....LOL
Oh Wait you gave yourself the award!!!! mmmmmmmmm....I'm giving myself an award later!

CONGRATS STEVE!!!! YOU TOTALLY DESERVE IT!!!

I am done for the NYD hatch. My last two eggs never hatched and when I checked on my two that did, since they were still in the bator before I left this morning, I had any early GN d'Uccle that hatched overnight. It was still in the turner, because my hubby apparently counted wrong and didn't think we locked down until today. Oops. Anyway, I have two cute BLRW from the NYD hatch and a very cute new GN d'Uccle baby.

I had so much fun with this hatch and I will deifinitely be back for the Easter Hatch. Hopefully, I have better luck then!

Congrats Steve!! Your constant positive attitude and encouragement was an inspiration to me and I wasn't even hatching along!! I'm glad your "peers" recognized your contribution.

Kathy and Laree, Congrats, too! Your technical contributions were outstanding and unequaled except for perhaps by your humor.

I don't own an incubator, except for my broody, Chickie Mama, but have followed this thread from the beginning. I am now thinking I should get one " just in case"..........you know.......

Your chicks are really miracle babies after all the craziness those eggs went through. And you were great with your positive thoughts

My pip is now an actual hole that is peeping! I had given up on this chick hatching last night, but She's trying today . I did, however, dream that we hatched 6 AKC Apricot Poodles last night.

: they were so cute! So, we are still holding out for a chick today. It will be sad that if she gets out, she will be the only one.
