Now, about our newly hatched chicks... one of the three TJs chicks has an itsy-bitsy teeny tiny comb already evident. More evident than the other two. It was the one that was having trouble zipping upside down. Typical.

MsFuzzyButts, Lazarus is looking great!! I know what you mean about trying to get pictures of them. I had DH laughing his butt off while I was trying to get a cute picture of them for the contest. I had all six of them on a towel on the dining room table trying to snap pics. They are running around on the table and I am trying to take pictures and also watch to make sure none of them get too close to the edge and fall off.

Wolftracks you have had more than your share of trajedy in the last year and I am so glad that our silliness can brighten your day and make you laugh. That is what "community" is all about. I hope we can keep lifing your spirits and easing your sorrows.

I won't be joining on the CNY hatch but I will lurk and throw in some funnies if I have some! I hope that hatch is as much fun as this one has been and all the eggs you set hatch!

Mahonri, sorry to hear that you haven't shaken off feeling cruddy. I hope whatever meds you are taking finally kick in and you get to feeling "normal" again.

All October babies, we will have to plan that hatch. Could be for Columbus Day or Halloween? Right now it feels like an eternity till we get there. We haven't gotten over freezing in over a week here and I can't imagine it ever warming up for summer and then cooling down again in the fall. I can't even think of putting my fuzzy butts in the garage for quite a while let alone outside. Thank goodness there are only six so not a huge amount of dust or dander yet. The first hatchers are really getting the wing feathers in and even the orps are starting to get them. Hard to believe how fast they change.
