Mahonri's 2nd Annual NYDHatch, watching them grow...

Hopefully I'm still in. My two broody's decided they no longer want to be broody and I have not been able to persuade them otherwise yet

The eggs are arriving today or tomorrow so I'm still ok time wise and I'm trying to see if Silkiechicken's bator is still operational just in case. So much for trying to sneak this hatch past my husband

Darn it all. Both of my eggs came early. They were both supposed to be sent on Dec 7 and they got sent out on Saturday. Why, why, why? Now I have only $16 left and need to find eggs at the last minute. Someone must really have it out for me. I don't want to hatch more of mine, I should have gone with my gut and ordered the cochin eggs instead of the sebright because I know she would have cooperated.

Well, it looks like this Araucana of mine -

Decided she wants to join in on a Christmas hatching!! She suddenly went broody just a few days ago, so I'll expect some gorgeous Olive Eggers from her just before New Year's.

I just hope I'll have some eggs left after shipping a bunch so I can have my own new year's hatch.

Can't wait to see what you get! My Splash Olive Egger is in the nest box trying to give you another one right now too!
