Mahonri's 2nd Annual NYDHatch, watching them grow...

Well, New Years Day is my Birthday and I normally seem to be the only one that isn't out celebrating, so if I can I am gonna try to have some eggs ready to set. I'm putting the final touches on a homemade incubator that I am building so if I can finish it in time this may be the best time to try it out. Wish me luck. That would be the greatest birthday gift ever to have baby chicks hatch out of my homemade incubator. And a great way to start out the New year!

Warden, I don't know why you consider that an eyesore! Great RV and it might come in handy if you do have a power outage.

I have never really been one to go out and celebrate on my birthday either....too many yahoo's and too many irresponsible drivers if you know what I mean, just can't bring myself to chance it. We will be joining in on the fun, plan to set Blue Andalusian, Wheaten Ameraucanas and hopefully Partridge Bantam Cochins(they don't lay consistantly

).

Our current test hatch should be done several days before and leave enough time to clean out the incubator and get set again

Happy Thanksgiving!
We (my children & I) have been following these posts. We will also be going in on the New Years Day Hatch.
A dozen Silkies, 6 mixed purebreeds ( not sure what breeds yet ) and anything our girls have laying around.
