You guys all crack me up!

Please, after the NYD hatch someone tell my husband that just because you own an incubator, doesn't mean you HAVE to put eggs in it! Ours has been running non-stop since he finished building it in August!

While I love to have babies running around, we have just a few too many. Bad thing now is, all of this years pullets have started laying, and he HAS to incubate them! (well, that's what he thinks anyway)

So right now I have 3 BLRW babies fluffing up in the bator, 1 more pipped, about 18 eggs to go into lockdown today, more eggs for lockdown next week, we just put eggs in for a Christmas day hatch, and are collecting all week for this hatch! We are going to be up to our ears in babies!!!!

I have totally given up on chicken math. Mine started out pretty good, then when we built the bator, things we crazy in a hurry!

Mahonri~

I think I may have to bow out of the NYD hatch.

With the stupidity of knocking my eggs off the table, combined with the girls taking part in a labor strike, I'm just not getting enough eggs. However, I have a batch of eggs that a lady didn't pick up on Friday as she was suppose to and I haven't heard from her, as of today the eggs are 14 days old and I hate to throw them away, so they will be going in the 'bator this morning for projected hatch date on Christmas.

Good luck to EVERYONE!!!!!!! Bring on the chickies of 2011.
