Mahonri's 2nd Annual NYDHatch, watching them grow...

No jen, I didn't figure there would be this many participants... I have folks PMing me to say that won't be hatching but they'll be WATCHING.

Is it fun watching a train wreck?....

I'll probably be hatching first!

'cause I put guinea eggs in Saturday and we know Guineas like to hatch early! lol seriously......my 7 month old guineas decided to lay some eggs in the snow so I threw them in the bator. Surprisingly, they look like they're developing! Very odd!

I'm still putting my sizzles & silkies in Saturday for the actual "aim for New years day" hatch! Last year I hatched my very first duckling for the new years hatch, so I'm looking forward to hatching my first set of my own sizzles for this one!

And I can't sleep now just wait three weeks....

And just how long do I wait before I give up that an egg will hatch? If the first eggs pipped yesterday at 8am, do I time from that point? I saw a friend Nancy "Bargain" (whose eggs are in my incubator) was waiting on some silkie eggs that started hatching late. As of day 24 she was still hopeful.

aww darnit I wont be getting any eggs tell Monday
