I dunno. I am a little torn. If it is a day or two, you might be ok. Hens roll their eggs around in poo and cracked eggs all the time. BUT my broodies usually eat (ick) the broken eggs and embryos---which probably reduces the amount of food for bacteria to consume.

I have had similar things happen, and had to wash the incubator. I had poor hatches, but who is to say the hatch wasn't poor because of humidity issues or shipped eggs?
