An incubator from Santa!

All this hatching talk has me itching to set some eggies.

ME TOO! I wish Santa took wish lists from 45 year old women.

That is it Nancy - we are all poultry paupers! And yes, the sussex sound lovely! My husband asks me why I want such expensive poultry - they all lay eggs right? You can eat them all right? But he misses the aesthetic aspect of it. I figure, beautiful chickens don't necessarily eat more than drab ones, right? and as much as I love eggs and chicken soup - I adore relaxing outside watching the chickens.
I was tempted to candle, but my incubator is only half full so - I just left them all. I will watch them to see if anything is seeping or otherwise looks off.

That is crazy big! I keep wanting to get some of the dark cornish - but I am getting so many chickens I am going to have to narrow my scope and concentrate on just a few things. But really - 20lb. ? That is like...a turkey!

I finally got someone at work to take a picture of me. (Cats refused, dogs licked the lens, ducks wanted to carry the camera around all day, and the chickens spent all their time reviewing THEiR photos in the camera.)

So, here I am, as of this morning.

Yes, that is a piece of coal poking up out of that Holiday stocking. *sigh*

Well hello!

I have the same problem with mine, so I just take lots of pictures of them as they (and you) are MUCH more photogenic than I am!

Happy hatching to all!
