dsqard Have I mentioned lately how lucky I am to have such an awesome husband? He puts up with my crazyness and I put up with his. That is probably why we get along so well.

He teases me constantly about the chicken mania but he is getting sucked into it as well. He is almost excited about the chicks hatching next weekend as I am.

ds, glad you pulled your husband into the dark side! LOL My DW was against us getting chickens and even told her friends about my silly idea...now she's right out there with me taking care of and worrying over those "silly chickens"! LOL

I don't plan on candling my eggs until day 18. Temp and Hum have been doing well.

Laree.........too cute. So inquiring minds wanna know, was the gnome your Christmas present?

Mahonri.......got ya beat. My oldest (11) was up at 1:00 and 2:30 telling me he couldn't sleep. Youngest (6)was up at 3:30. They were both told to go back to sleep until a reasonable hour. They were both up permanently at 6:30. This is the first year they have been up in the middle of the night.

10 year old was up at 3 for good, begging his mom to wake everyone up. She finally relented at 5:30.
