Mahonri's 2nd Annual NYDHatch, watching them grow...

I'm glad you brought up the rearranging.

I've got quite a few eggs left... how am I supposed to arrange this thing so that they have room to hatch? Am I also supposed to move the eggs onto their sides like I've seen some people on here do?

I have desk organizer thingies that I put the different eggs into. It helps, but not 100%, since...you know....the chicks bounce around and stuff. I have some hardware cloth I could bend into a large "L" shape to seperate the incubator itself into two. I shall ponder the problem.

Gotta get ready to leave, but if my Christmas hatch is any indication of my hatching luck..........well..........no pips yet.

Maybe I'll have some success while I'm gone.

either leave them like they are or cut the bottoms off an egg carton and set them in that. That way they don't fall over when others hatch. There is plenty of room. Think of a mamma hen on top of the eggs...no clearance there either. It looks tight but they will be just fine.
