oh yeah .............................. I forgot to mention our meal . Along with our customary ham , I brought an 11 and 1/2 pound , smoked chicken that everyone thought was a turkey . I had bartered for a neighbor to smoke it in his walk-in smoker . While I prefer it not brined as he had done , it was still very , very good ; not at all tough , although like turkey , there were tendons in the legs that had to be seperated and fed to the dogs . I was planning another CX for New Years , this one even larger , but his heart gave out last night

eww I just got done eating ham for Christmas dinner lol
wheres the peptobismo hahahahahaa.. anyway just some updated information that one chicks my only blue cochin is doing pretty well still hasn't hatched all the way yet. Maybe tomorrow ??? I've been having some issues with my incubator. Nothing from the dominiques I dont wanna know

Dunno if anybody cares, but I did finally have some protein: Kansas City steakburger, with cheddar cheese and Portabella mushrooms. I feel much better now. Not quite so ready to sample raccoon stew.

I happen to think the best coon is a dead one but as for eating one I don't know about that I guess not much different that eating a naughty roo.......
